Does the White House employ a Facebook aide?  When Barack Obama’s status update shows up on my Facebook news feed, I feel utterly close to him. When I see his little profile thumbnail picture—curiously the Facebook-designed silhouette that’s the stand-in option for those who don’t use a photo—I can’t help but imagine President Obama grabbing for his Blackberry to update his fan page while Medvedev uses the bathroom and Biden gets some water.
